Maruti Suzuki New Cars 2017-Autovista

The country’s largest carmaker is going to bring some models and variants like Ignis, Baleno RS, Vitara Brezza Petrol, New Dzire and S-Cross Facelift in the market coming year 2017.

Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS

The Baleno RS Boosterjet variant is going to launch in the country in the coming months. The look of the car is identical to the regular model, the additional features added to the car are to distinguish from the current Baleno like side skirts and new diamond cut alloy wheels. Baleno RS will be provided by a Boosterjet engine of Suzuki, this will boost power upto 110bhp and peak torque of 170Nm. The car is designed to take off the market of cars like Ford Figo 1.5-litre petrol, Volkswagen Polo GT TSI and Fiat Abarth Punto in India.

Maruti Suzuki Ignis

The customers are the hearing name of this car quite some time now. The Maruti Suzuki Ignis (iM4) is going to launch in the country early next year. Although the Ignis was going to launch on festive season, but looking towards the market of Baleno and Vitara Brezza, the company planned to launch Ignis in 2017.

Ignis will be powered by a 1.3-litre MultiJet diesel and 1.2-litre VTVT petrol engine unit. Ignis will also be seen with a 1.0 BoosterJet turbo petrol engine and will be available with an Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) box. Ignis will be the third car in the Nexa, the premium dealership of Maruti Suzuki.

Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza Petrol

Maruti Suzuki is going to launch petrol variant along with AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) of model Vitara Brezza the compact SUV. Both the models are going to launch in early next year. The petrol model will be powered by a 1.5 litre petrol engine which will boost around 100bhp of power and is mounted with 5-speed manual transmission and automated gearbox. It may be possible that Maruti will consider the 1.0 litre BoosterJet engine to Vitara Brezza. Currently Vitara Brezza is mounted with a 200 DDis 1248cc diesel engine that develops 88.5bhp of power and 200Nm of torque mated with a five-speed manual gearbox. It boasts fuel efficiency of 24.3kmpl.

New Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire

Maruti Suzuki started working on new Dzire rapidly and is also seen while testing. Dzire is likely to get new bumpers and with changes such as bold grille and LED tail lamp cluster and new projector headlight with daytime running lights (DRLS). Other features likely to be seen include keyless entry with push-button start, automatic climate control, steering-mounted controls and reverse camera. Under the hood, the new Dzire is likely to get the same 1.3-litre diesel and 1.2-liter petrol engines of the current model. Swift Dzire might get 1.0 litre BoosterJet engine along with SHVS (Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki) technology.  

Maruti Suzuki S-Cross Facelift

Maruti will launch S-Cross with Facelift in India in 2017. The unveiled S-Cross will feature a larger radiator grille along with new projector headlamps and re-styled front bumper. S-Cross facelift gets slightly redesigned bumper and tail lamps. The headlamp unit of S-Cross gets daytime running lamps.

The 1.3 litre diesel S-Cross facelift is likely to churns out power of 89bhp and torque of 200Nm and 1.6 litre diesel S-Cross facelift is likely to churns out power of 118bhp and torque of 320Nm.
