1) New Wagon R Vs Old Wagon R: Dimensions
The third generation Wagon R has become bigger and taller than the current running model. The Big New Wagon R measures 3,655 mm in length, therefore it is 19 mm longer than the outgoing version. Not only this, it is 145 mm wider than the current model and in total the width now measures 1,620 mm. Additionally, the Wagon R 2019 model is 5 mm higher and the total height of it is 1,675 mm. The steering wheel in the Wagon R 2019 is also new as compared to the old one. The new Wagon R would carry the current 1.0-liter three-cylinder engine. Additionally, Maruti Suzuki would offer the 1.2-liter four-cylinder engine that powers the Ignis and Swift in the market. The 1.0-liter three-cylinder petrol engine produces a maximum power of 67 bhp and 90 Nm while the 1.2-liter engine is predicted to produce around 83 bhp and 113 Nm. Maruti Suzuki would not cast a factory-fitted CNG version of the new Wagon R at the time of its launch but it is expected to be launched at a later date.

Maruti Suzuki is most likely to increase the price of the new Wagon R slightly. The base price is expected to increase by Rs. 40,000 and it is expected to start at a price of Rs. 4.55 lakhs. The higher models are expected to see a higher price difference by Rs. 50,000 – 60,000.
